List of SIRISH Schemes

Candidates from the Tea Tribes community who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their applications on the SIRISH portal. The Department provides a wide variety of schemes designed to benefit almost the entire community.

1. Pre-Matric Scholarship

Students from the Tea Tribes and Adivasi communities studying in Class IX or X are eligible. Eligible candidates will receive financial assistance of ₹3,000/-.

  • Application Period: 1st June 2025 to 16th July 2025

2. Post-Matric Scholarship

Students currently studying in Class XI, XII, or Bachelor’s Degree courses are eligible. Financial assistance provided:

  • Class XI or XII: ₹5,000/-
  • Bachelor’s Degree: ₹7,000/-
  • Application Period: 1st July 2025 to 31st August 2025

3. Simon Sing Horo Special Post Matric Scholarship

For students who have successfully cleared their HSLC or HSSLC examinations this year from ASSEB or a recognized board. Eligible candidates receive a one-time incentive of ₹10,000/-.

  • Application Period: 1st June 2025 to 16th July 2025

4. Financial Assistance for Higher Studies

For students pursuing higher studies such as MBBS, MBA, Engineering, Law, Research & Education within or outside the state. Assistance ranges from ₹25,000/- to ₹35,000/- depending on the course.

  • Application Period: 1st July 2025 to 31st August 2025

5. Financial Assistance for ANM/GNM/Technical Courses

For students pursuing training in ANM, GNM, Para-Medical, or other job-assured technical/professional Diploma & Degree courses (min. 1 year duration). Assistance ranges from ₹4,000/- to ₹20,000/-.

  • Application Period: 1st July 2025 to 31st August 2025

6. Coaching for Higher Studies

Provides free coaching for competitive examinations like Civil Services, Medical, Engineering, SSC, and Banking. Shortlisted candidates receive free coaching to help them compete effectively.

7. Grants to Women SHGs

Financial assistance for women’s Self Help Groups (SHGs) to undertake income generation activities. Selected SHGs receive ₹25,000/- via direct bank transfer.

8. Swahid Dayal Das Panika Swaniyojan Achoni

Financial assistance for self-employed youths to initiate or enhance self-employment activities. Selected candidates receive ₹25,000/-.
