Eligibility Criteria for Chief Minister’s Jibon Prerana Scheme

To ensure the benefits reach the most deserving candidates, the Government of Assam has set the following eligibility standards:

1. Residency and Education

  • Permanent Resident: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.
  • Graduation Year: Only 2025 pass-out graduates are eligible.
  • Institution Type: Must have graduated from a Government or Public institution located in Assam.
    Note: Students from private institutions or Open Universities are not eligible.

2. Employment & Student Status

  • The applicant must be currently unemployed.
  • The applicant must not be enrolled in any further Professional or Vocational courses.
  • Beneficiaries of the Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme are excluded from this benefit.

3. Parental and Income Exclusions

Applicants are ineligible if their parents fall into any of the following categories:

  • Public Office holders (MLAs, MPs, or Ministers).
  • Registered Contractors.
  • Government employees or pensioners (except for Grade IV employees).
  • Professionals with an annual family income exceeding ₹10 lakh.
