PM Kisan Yojana 22nd Installment Kab Aayegi: The 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana is expected to be credited to farmers’ bank accounts before the festival of Holi , which falls on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

As per media reports, the ₹2,000 installment amount may be released in the first or middle week of February 2026. However, the exact date will be confirmed only after an official announcement.

Under the PM-Kisan scheme, eligible farmers receive financial assistance of ₹6,000 per year. This amount is transferred directly to their bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each.

So far, 21 installments of the PM-Kisan scheme have been released up to February 2026. The most recent, 21st installment was credited to beneficiaries’ accounts on November 19, 2025.

Pattern of PM Kisan Installment Transfer

What is the pattern of installment transfer? As of now, no official release date for the 22nd installment has been announced on the PM Kisan official website.

However, based on the previous payment pattern, PM Kisan installments are generally released at an interval of every four months.

The installment payments usually fall under the December to March cycle. Keeping this pattern in mind, farmers can expect the next installment within this period.

• Farmers whose bank accounts are linked with their Aadhaar number.

How to Check PM Kisan Status?

Farmers can easily check their PM Kisan payment and installment status online by following the steps given below:

1. First, visit the official PM Kisan website at pmkisan.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, go to the Farmers Corner section and click on Know Your Status.
3. Now, enter any one of the following details: Aadhaar number, mobile number, or bank account number.
4. Enter the captcha code shown on the screen and click on the Get Data button.

After completing these steps, your full PM Kisan status will be displayed on the screen. Here, you can check whether the payment is under process, whether the installment has been released or is stuck, and if there is any error in your details.

Why Is eKYC Necessary for PM Kisan?

Completing eKYC is mandatory for all PM Kisan beneficiaries. If eKYC is not completed, the PM Kisan installment may be delayed or stopped.

Farmers can complete eKYC easily from home using the OTP-based method. For this, visit the official website pmkisan.gov.in, click on the eKYC option, enter your Aadhaar number, submit the OTP received on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number, and complete the verification.

Alternatively, farmers can visit their nearest CSC (Common Service Center) to complete the eKYC process using their Aadhaar number and mobile number with biometric verification such as fingerprint or iris scan.

Facial authentication is also available through the PM Kisan mobile app. In this method, farmers need to enter their Aadhaar number and complete a face scan to successfully finish the eKYC process.
